Welcome to Tanzania
Airport pickup: Your private guide meets you on arrival and transfers you to Gran Meliá Arusha, with an optional city experience depending on your arrival time.
Relax before the safari begins: An evening to settle in and prepare for the six days ahead.
Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire: A drive of around two and a half hours to Tarangire National Park, followed by a private game drive among elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebra and wildebeest.
Golden-hour game drive: Continue through Tarangire's golden afternoon light before checking in to Escarpment Luxury Lodge, overlooking the Manyara landscape.
Ngorongoro Highlands to the Serengeti
Climb into the Ngorongoro highlands: Climb into the Ngorongoro highlands with a stop to admire the crater view from the rim, before continuing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Into the Serengeti: Continue into the Serengeti with a game drive en route, spotting elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs and lions.
Full day of Serengeti wildlife
Private exploration at your own pace: The Serengeti writes a different story every day, so a full day of private exploration follows lion prides, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos and crocodiles.
Continued game drive: An unhurried afternoon of game viewing, with the possibility of a predator hunt depending on where the wildlife activity leads.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Journey to the Ngorongoro highlands: Leave the Serengeti and journey up to the Ngorongoro highlands, with views over the surrounding landscape along the way.
Crater floor game drive: Descend to the crater floor in search of black rhino, lions, elephants, buffalo, zebra, hippos, hyenas and gazelles, before checking in to Ngorongoro Lion's Paw Camp on the crater rim.
Lake Manyara and Arusha
Descend to Lake Manyara: Descend to Lake Manyara National Park, exploring its forests, grasslands and wetlands in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lions, hippos and baboons.
Final game drive and drive to Arusha: A final game drive along the lake shore, rich with birdlife, before driving to Arusha. Safari ends.
