Arrival in Arusha
Airport pickup: Your driver-guide meets you on arrival for the transfer to Arusha, with a possible view of Kilimanjaro's silhouette along the way.
Settle in at Gran Meliá Arusha: Check in and relax over dinner as you prepare for the seven days ahead.
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Private briefing and drive to Tarangire: A private briefing with your guide, then the drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its spectacular baobabs and elephant herds.
Golden-hour game drive: A game drive through the golden afternoon light in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebra and wildebeest, before checking in to Escarpment Luxury Lodge.
Karatu to the Serengeti National Park
Leave the highlands for the endless plains: Leave the highlands and enter the Serengeti, the endless plains, with a game drive en route spotting zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, elephants, buffalo and lions.
Arrive at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge: Arrive at Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge inside Central Serengeti in time to settle in before dinner.
Full-day Serengeti safari
Private guide-led exploration: A full day shaped by your guide's local knowledge and the wildlife activity of the day, searching for lions, cheetahs and leopards among the kopjes.
Herds and, in season, migration scenes: Continue exploring among elephants and wildebeest-zebra herds, with possible Great Migration scenes depending on the season, before returning to Kubu Kubu.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater: Leave the Serengeti and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, exploring the ecosystem within its volcanic caldera walls in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hyenas and possibly black rhinoceros.
Ascend and return to Escarpment Luxury Lodge: Ascend back to the highlands and return to Escarpment Luxury Lodge Manyara for the night.
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Explore Lake Manyara: Explore Lake Manyara National Park's forests, plains and lake area in search of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos and rich birdlife.
Final game drive and drive to Arusha: A final game drive before continuing to Arusha for your last evening, checking in to Four Points by Sheraton Arusha Hotel.
Departure
Relaxed final breakfast and transfer to the airport: A relaxed final breakfast, then a private transfer to the airport for your international flight. Safari ends.
