Welcome to Tanzania
Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport pickup: Your private guide meets you on arrival and transfers you to The Scenery Residence in Arusha, with an optional short city experience depending on your arrival time.
Relax before the safari begins: A quiet evening to settle in and prepare for the days ahead.
Tarangire National Park
Depart for Tarangire: Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a private game drive among elephants, ancient baobabs, giraffes, buffalo, zebra and wildebeest.
Golden-hour game drive: Continue exploring Tarangire into the golden afternoon light, with a chance of resting lions, before checking in to Suricata Boma Lodge.
Tarangire to the Serengeti
Drive through the Ngorongoro highlands: Leave Tarangire and drive through the Ngorongoro highlands toward Central Serengeti, with game viewing along the way.
Into the Serengeti: Continue into the Seronera region, spotting elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs and lions before your first Serengeti sunset.
Full day in the wild
Private game drive at your own pace: A full-day private game drive inside Central Serengeti, following wildlife activity in search of lions, leopard, cheetah, elephants and large herds.
Continued exploration: The wild does not follow a schedule, nothing is guaranteed, and that is exactly why it is so special. Your guide adapts the route through the afternoon around fresh sightings.
Ngorongoro Crater and departure
Drive to the crater rim: Leave the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim viewpoint before the descent to the crater floor.
Big Five search on the crater floor: Search the crater floor for lions, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos and the endangered black rhino.
Return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport: Climb back up to the crater rim and drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey. Safari ends.
