Can I rent a car without a driver?

We only offer cars with a driver included. Self-drive is uncommon in Tanzania and driving conditions, road rules and checkpoints are far easier left to a local professional.

How much does it cost per day?

From $20 per day for a saloon car, and from $180 per day for a 4x4, depending on your route and how many days you need. Tell us your plan for an exact quote.

Can the driver take me outside Arusha?

Yes. We arrange trips anywhere in Tanzania, from a single airport transfer to multi-day custom routes across the country.

Is fuel included in the price?

Yes, fuel for the agreed route is included. If your plans change significantly on the day, we will let you know before any extra cost applies.

Can I choose my own itinerary?

Absolutely. You choose the destination, dates and route, and we arrange the vehicle, driver and fuel. You keep full control of your journey.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, we can provide child and booster seats on request at no extra charge. Just let us know your children's ages when booking.

What languages do your driver-guides speak?

All our driver-guides speak fluent English. We can also arrange guides who speak Italian, Spanish, French or German on request.

How far in advance should I book?

For peak season, from June to October, we recommend booking three to six months ahead. For other months, one to two months is usually enough.

What happens if the vehicle breaks down?

All our vehicles are regularly serviced and maintained. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, we have backup vehicles available and will arrange replacement transport as quickly as possible at no extra cost.
